Grants & Bursaries

Kindersley & District Health & Wellness Foundation Inc. provides education reserves and bursaries for education and training opportunities for Healthcare personnel as well as eligible students in healthcare fields.

Nokleby Education Reserve

Provides education and training opportunities for personnel of the Kindersley Integrated Healthcare Facility.

Brian Martin Bursary

Annually provides $1,000 Bursary in support of a student in the healthcare field attending their second year at a university or technical school. Students who attended schools in Kindersley, Coleville, Marengo, Brock or Eatonia are eligible to apply.

NOKLEBY EDUCATION FUND

Criteria

Applicant must be an employee of the Kindersley’s Integrated Health Care Facility
Applicant must have completed the course or module, and provide copies of the original receipts.
Applicants must write a letter indicating why they are taking the course and how it will assist them in providing quality care for the residents/patients and/or clients in the community.
The application must be received by March 31st of the year.

BRIAN MARTIN BURSARY

Bursary Program

Established as a tribute to Brian Martin to reconize his dedication and contribution to the betterment of care for seniors in our community who require long-term care assistance.

Objective

To recognize the importance of education for our youth, in order that they have the knowledge to promote quality of life for our communities. “That we may add life to years not just years to life.”

Method

By annually providing $1000.00 bursary in support of a student in the health care field having completed first year at a university or technical school. The bursary will be payable in two installments, the first upon registration in the fall and second upon proof of enrollment in January.

Eligibility

Students who attended and completed school within the Towns of Kindersley, Marengo, Coleville, Eatonia and Brock.

Criteria

Applicants must be enrolled in the Health Care field.
Studens must provide proof of acceptance and registration from the qualifying education institute.
Qualifying institutions are: a) Any Canadian University or recognized Technical Institution b) Any post-secondary Institution
Only fully completed applicants will be considered.
